What does Scribe do?

Scribe turns recordings into transcripts and useful notes. Record or import audio, follow speaker labels, and create summaries and action items. Standard and Pro also include Ask Scribe, with answers linked to your notes.

Can I try it for free?

Yes. The Free plan includes 30 minutes of transcription each month, speaker detection and all four note formats. Start in the web app or download Scribe from Google Play.

Which plan is right for me?

Free is a good way to try Scribe or capture occasional short notes. Standard includes 500 minutes (8 hours 20 minutes) each month for regular recordings. Pro includes 3,000 minutes (50 hours) each month for frequent meetings, lectures, or interviews.

Where can I use Scribe?

Use Scribe directly at goscribe.co/app without downloading the mobile app. Create an account in your browser to record or import audio, review transcripts and work with your notes. Already use the mobile app? Sign in with the same account for your library and shared monthly allowance.

Can I access my notes on another device?

Yes. Sign in with the same Scribe account on Android or at goscribe.co/app to access your uploaded recordings, transcripts and notes from your phone, tablet or computer. Your plan and monthly transcription allowance are shared too. Internet access is required. Upload recordings first: audio saved only on your phone or in one browser stays on that device until you upload it.

Can I record Teams, Zoom and Google Meet without a bot?

Yes, when you join the meeting in a desktop Chrome tab. Scribe records your microphone and the meeting tab’s audio without sending a bot into the call. Choose Microphone + meeting tab and enable Share tab audio. Only audio is saved. Desktop app and whole-system audio are not captured. Let everyone know you are recording, and keep Scribe open and your computer awake. Zoom’s browser option may depend on the host’s settings.

How do I record a browser meeting?

Open the web app in desktop Chrome and choose Record, then Microphone + meeting tab. Choose Connect audio, select the tab with your meeting and enable Share tab audio. Allow your microphone, check both audio meters, then choose Start recording. When you finish, review the audio and choose Upload & transcribe. Keep Scribe open while recording and let everyone know. Desktop app and whole-system audio are not included.

How do I manage my subscription?

Open Account in Scribe and choose Manage subscription to return to the store where you subscribed. New subscriptions are available in the mobile app, and your plan also works on the web. Your local price is shown before purchase.
